    EL Longo

What does EL Longo Mean. I have never seen this term used before except on this site. The reason I ask is I saw a gun that has EL Longo stamped on the barrel???

The gun is a WINCHESTER 1885 HIGH WALL SCHUETZEN

I think it's most likely the name of the man who ordered the rifle. Note the periods after the E and the L.
