    Mihec Molds Question

I have given in, can't find the WC molds I want from Lyman/ Ideal, RCBS, ect. My
question is on Mihec molds being made overseas, besides the list price on group buys
is there a lot of import hassle and additional customs, tax, and shipping charges?

no hassle at all here, I've got 4 of em iirc. when ordered through group buys he would always email a paypal invoice and you just check out like normal. All the customs/taxes/shipping was calculated into the price I saw. Hardest part is waiting for it to arrive .

I've ordered from GBs and from his website and have the same experience. They come over on the slow boat and take forever clearing customs (about 2 weeks for shipping seems average) but no hassle and no hidden fees.

Also, when ordering from the MP Molds site, there is no charge for world wide shipping. Two weeks transit is about right, and with no other charges or hassles.

'Easy as can be. Shipping is included and they usually arrive at your door (signature required) in about 9 business days. I probably have 3 dozen+ of em. (yeah, I'm an addict).

Oh I forgot about the signature required, you are correct I had to visit the post office each time to have them released. Don't forget to read the newspapers he packs em with, there's a thread going around with info .

Mine just show up in the community mailbox center, no signature required. Only those packages too large for my box or the parcel boxes require a trip to town.

No issues getting them here in houston, texas. I have two of his molds. I pay whatever the paypal invoice says; no surprises, no extra fees.

    Where you been looking?
I have bought mine on eBay. Lyman and H&G 4 cavities. They go for pretty cheap prices. NOE sells them also.
Post on the forum here, Swapping and Selling. It seems like everyone has W/C moulds. Somebody will sell you what you want.

I purchased a Milhec Kramer style mold for my 41 colt. It is a thing of beauty. So much so that every time I take it out to cast with it I want to put it in framed box and put it on display.
Go now and pour yourself a hot one...
