Gas volume question on Varget vs H4895

So I have good like with both powders in my 30-06 rifles at reduced loads found in layman's data and hodgdons directions on line. That said my question is.
Which of these powders generate more gas volume and will the increase in gas volume increase my port pressure on a M1 garand.

I ask only because I'm working up loads for the M1 garand and would like the rifle to cycle on the lowest charge that I can get decent accuracy with.

varget is a bit slower so you can use more of it to reach the same peak pressure.
more powder equals more gas volume.

4895 will work better than Varget for this application, especially if a dacron filler is used.
