I will echo what EDG said. I got exactly one loading out of all the R-P brass I have (had). They either cracked in half or got bright shiny rings on the base to where I would reload them anyway.
You can miss fast & you can miss a lot, but only hits count.

I'm using the NOE 316299 mould. I have the XXX299 design series in .311, .314, and .316 and I used the design in just about all of my military bolt action .30 and .31 cal rifles. Weight on average for the .314" diameter is right at 208 grains lubed and gas checked.

HXP brass is pretty good stuff and I use it in preference to the RP and Winchester brands. I still have a couple of cases of HXP Mk VIIz ball so as I wear the brass out, I shoot a hundred rounds or so of the ball ammo and then I have brass that will last quite a long time, till the next frenzy of ball ammo shooting is required.

By the way, similar to yours, my Type 99 has a perfect chromed bore, but it is probably about .316" to .317" as near as I can tell.

[QUOTE=Lethemgo;4125041]Looking at the brass I have most of it is hxp.

PPU brass is very good but IMHO, HXP is the cream of the crop.

Avoid S&B brass at all costs, as its reload life is very short compared to the above.

Or do you think it's better just to resize them all first until fired in my rifle. What would be the best for the first firing. So now I'll purchase the collet die and probably a mold. Also need a rear sling swivel that is missing. All matching serial numbers just missing the swivel. I know guys like pics so I'll get some up I know I like to see other guns and what guys find.
Send me a pm and we'll get you that swivel. My rifle's shooter grade so my original buttstock swivel is un-needed.

Things you find when get in sunlight for pictures. Think I'm missing some thing to hold sight pin in.

There should be a slotted disk there with a cross pin.

Nice looks like a peddled scheme. Note It lacks a manufacturer mark on the wrist.
Check for the barrel maker mark.
    Be well.

The "National Rifle Factory" marked their No 1 Mk III Enfields with "NRF" on the back of the receiver and not on the wrist. Perhaps your Enfield is one of these. They are very well made and retained the magazine block and windgauge rear sight well after the mainline manufacturers dropped those features. Many of the NRF rifles were used by the Royal Navy as I understand it.
