Lightbulb Polka Dotted Shake and Bake boolits

Have had excellent results with the shake and bake method of powder coating for short fat pistol boolits.

The long skinny rifle ones don't turn out as well with a single application. Two applications solves the problem but if they are the same color, it's tough to gauge the coverage.

As an experiment, I tried two coats with different colors (red followed by yellow). that made it easy to judge coverage and produced a unique appearance.

These are 285 gr .375s that I'll shoot w/o gas checks using light loads in my Ruger No. 1 Tropical in 375 H&H. (Not a rifle to shoot w.full house loads !)

My method is to add a different color each time I run low on the powder in the tub. Get similar results which I like. You can also see minor changes in color as the powder gets used up

    those turned out great

right now I'm using up all my 'overages' so mine tend to be gray-green and ugly but they still shoot and don't lead
