I had a little trouble with static electricity on the powder scoop but figured it out. My way of dipping was the method recommended by Lee, scoop a full measure of powder, rake excess off the top with a level object(in my case an ice cream stick), and weigh the charge without shaking to down or anything like that. The weights vary a bit and that is why I hand weigh each and every charge if throw. I don't trust scoops or powder measures completely. I have a set of weights to check my scales and I use them, regularly. I try to be very careful as I want the best ammo I can load to help my poor shooting. james
