    .22mag conversion

    Does anyone out there know if they make a 22mag conversion kit for an AR15? I have a 22lr conversion kit and was wondering about the Mag. Any help would be appreciated.

    I just load a 223 with a cast boolit at about 1600 fps

    Close enough to 22mag for my needs

    I think Olympic Arms made once made such a thing, but I don’t see it on their website anymore.

    There are several smiths who could probably make a 22 mag dedicated upper - Derrick Martin at Accuracy Speaks (http://www.accuracyspeaks.com/) and Frank White at Compass Lake Engineering (http://www.compasslake.com/) come to mind – but I think johnch’s solution is the best.
