I have a neighbor about half mile down the road that I buy eggs from and enjoy visiting with. Salt of the earth kind of folks. I was finishing picking the last of my garden beans and Red stopped by. During our visit out in the garden he informed me his wife Rose has been diagnosed with thyroid cancer and they got the news Friday evening. Please pray for Rose that her burden will be light and the course of treatment successful.

I have a shooting buddy who has been through that some 4 years back.
Was not so bad, some radiation afterwards, some light chemo. He did not lose his hair.
He did appear to age some 7-8 years. But has since bounced back well.
Rose will be in my prayers.
