I've only loaded a few 38/357, but I really do enjoy loading enjoy those.

first bullet I cast was a 358429. I was trading them to a friend that had a loading press. then I was reading this guys work skeeter skelton was his name. so I thought if he could make good loads with a tong tool I could too. so I started loading my cast bullets in .38 spl. cases. then a year later I got a single stage press and have been loading ever since.

When I was about 14 I pulled the bullet from two .22 LR rounds with my teeth. I dumped the powder from one case into the other and crammed one of the mangled bullets back into the case. I had the rim blow out on firing my very first reload.

Winchester Spec. .32 caliber, way back in the mid to latter 60's after getting out of the service. Used them to get a deer in the Black Hills of No. East WY.

That was done with a Lee Loader which at that time was made by Lee Precision!

In late '60 or early '61 my 1st. caliber was the .244 Rem. (before it was renamed to 6mm Rem.) & this was followed closely by the .38-40 (aka .38 WCF).

These were loaded on a Lyman Comet press (I even loaded 20 gauge shot shells on that press....it was slow, but they shot well)

38 special, with a lee loader, in metallic cartridge. And 12 gauge in shotgun. Shotgun was first.
