9mm in 1989 with a Lee hand press. I was so stupid I used the Lla included in the kit on jackets bullets.

I have been a lot more successful with the .22WMR. I have pulled the factory bullets and replaced them with 40grn and 45 grn Hornet bullets.
I can tell you that the 45 grain bullet swells the case about .003 bigger than the 40 grn bullet with the same powder charge.

.243 in about 2009, When I bought my first ammo for it (2 boxes) I thought the prices were too high so bought all the stuff to reload at home. The first test I had a string on the trigger and pulled it from about 10 feet back. Shot my first deer that year with that gun it felt so cool that I made my own ammo to take the deer. Still feel pretty proud whenever I hunt knowing I made the ammo.

Don't even remember. Dad had me pulling on a press handle by the time I was 3 years old.

First boolits I cast were 454190.

C&B revolvers, flintlock and percussion rifles (does that count?). The first centerfire brass I loaded was 50-70 Gov't.

38-55 Winchester with Lyman's 375249 and 3031 powder. Boolits cast from lead melted over a fireplace, unsized, and loaded with a Lyman 310 tool. True story. Year was 1957 or '58.

I honestly didn't expect to see this much variety, especially some of the more obscure calibers, but it sure is neat!

.44 Magnum. I bought the press and supplies the same day I purchased the revolver. Really glad I did too!

I started with a 22-250 in a Remington 788 in the late 70's. Still in high school. Used a Lee wack o' mole.

I started in 1972 with the 6mm Rem. for a Remington 788. Press was a RCBS Jr. Still have both of them.
