    Lee tester help

Found what I guess is a piece of lab equipment that works great for holding the Lee microscope and sample. Made a piece to hold the scope and it's good to go.

I made a stand long ago, but it never could guess I did not use it enough to get the hang of moving the opposite direction that my tiny brain kept telling me I should be going. Now I wear an Optivisor and use a digital caliper!

Still need a way to get good light on the sample without holding a flashlight. Somewhere I have a light on a gooseneck. Need to find it!

Taping a cheap Walmart bore light onto it works too. I do that on my progressive press so I can check how much powder is in the case.

Short Fall, I believe that's an old comparator stand that used an indicator set to gage blocks to measure. a small led light can be mounted easy enough with a little ingenuity. Extend the mount for the microscope some and another hole with a set screw and a mini mag light or small led light.

Just remembered I have a couple little LED's that are sold as barbeque lights.
Might work well for my application.
What you say re the stand makes sense.
