Well If I could load what I have cast I should be good for 10 years. Then in a worst case it is 223, 357, 30-06 and 12 gauge.

The fact that I reload, and cast affects the choices of guns I buy. It opens doors to calibers I otherwise couldnt afford to shoot. I dont count the cost of my initial gear though. And I dont expect to have a never ending supply of reloading gear coming in. I dont have the space for much more, Just be basics.

Id keep a 12 gauge and 3006 for hunting and a ar15 and a 9mm handgun. the ar15 and 9 because ive got well over 10k of ammo loaded for both so it would be a good long time before I had to buy ammo. Maybe add a 22lr pistol and rifle to the list.

rifle a .30-30 pistol a .357. almost any general store in the most back areas will have .30-30 and at least .38spl. on the shelf. add a 9mm cylinder for the pistol.

At this time i just cast .50 cal REAL boolits from my mould. Reckon i could use sabots. No reloading i would just buy Cowboy loads by HSM for my 45-70. I do have enuff stuff on hand to reload a few thousand rounds. I have a case of 16ga shells for home protection. I have a few thousands rounds of 22LR. I have several hundred bullets for my sml n powder n primers for all of my stuff. At the rate i shoot my stuff should last this late middle aged man til i pass

    1. No casting, would not part with anything.
    2. No reloading would not sell anything, but would not shoot as much. Don't think I would buy anything as commercial ammo available for all my equipment. Might use shotguns more.
