    Ordered from Shilo..............

It has been over a year, they should be starting to build sooner or later. Do they contact you before they build to touch bases with you, or just build it?

They will send you a letter, when the gun is ready to go into production. At that time you will need to pay the balance and finalize any changes that you might want to make on it, and then begins the longest 3-4 months of your life. LOL

And when you get it, it will be better than when you got your first bicycle.

I got a letter when my order was beginning production and paid the bill upon completion when it was ready to ship. 18 months from order to the letter and 6 months later it was made perfectly and shipped to me.

Ordered April 11th, 2016...........Still waiting on letter. Wonder how much the price has gone up since then............
I didn't order a tang sight, I hope it will be drilled and tapped for one, I like the "Kelly" sights myself.
    Will keep you informed

Knarley you are probably quite close to getting your letter. I got letters this spring for two rifles I have on order. I don't remember the time from order to letter, but it was something like 16-18 months.

The length of time to complete the rifle after you get your letter can vary depending on the options you pick.

I would also recommend arranging with Shiloh to have the sights put on. They will grind the rear sight base surface so that it sits perfectly on the tang.

I was wondering why the charged $20.00 to put on sights other than the MVA sights they sell. Now it makes sense. Click image for larger version.

And that 3-4 months will become 2-4 years. . . . You will be enjoying this anticipatory wait so long as your supply of stomach acid suppressants remains adequate.

One piece of advice to allow you to remain functional. Limit your viewing of "Quigley Down Under" to not more than twice per year.
