DuPont Black Powder can - ca. 1908?

    Great yard sale find! $2!
As near as I can determine this is very early 1900's DuPont Powder, maybe black powder but late enough for smokeless.
Nice label but the tin itself has lost most of its paint. Looks kind of like a small whiskey flask.
    Any thoughts?

I am not all that familiar with the older DuPont powder can but that one sure looks early. For $2 you can't pass one up like that.

That's enough to make a guy feel that he should've spent the weekend to yard sales. What a find!
