Nice LGS finds - how did I do?

I found a couple of nice Mauser rifles today at the local show. One in particular I think is a great find. I paid a higher price so let's see how bad I did.

A straight from the importer, a Carl G. In what I can tell is in NRA excellent condition. $550 out the door.

It's a Yugoslav Mauser 8X57 in excellent condition but not matching.

Nice swede. I think Carl G is the maker. The B models like yours are fine shooters!

Thank you, I forgot the punctuation. Yes this a Carl Gustaf and from the looks of it, it was never used. Only a couple small handling marks in the front of the stock.

that's a nice Swede. i'd say you did very well. i'd buy that rifle for $550. the threaded barrel is neat. mine is a pawn shop find, in average condition, numbers mismatched, but a good shooter. the guy at the pawn shop thought someone had "bubba-ed" the rifle with the barrel threading. AFTER I paid for it, I told him that the military did that to use the wooden blank attachment (to shred the wooden blank bullets). he kept the friendly smile, but I know he was pissed

Of all the Mausers out there, I've never owned a Sweed. I certainly would have been tempted by that one. Hope she shoots as well as she looks.

    That Swede looks unissued.

    I wouldn't have believed this!!
I want the 1899 Mauserwerke one I traded off back! I owned several, sportered a couple. Until the Swiss K31 they were the most accurate milsurps I had fired. My brother came up with a Husky 40's m38 that is crudely finished but smooth & accurate. They are excellent Mausers.
