I would tell you the Thor, but then, I'm a bit prejudiced having been the Honcho on the original Group Buy.

I have the Thor in both versions and the Hunter, though I've not shot either in a 7-08, I personally prefer the larger meplat of the Thor to point at critters, but I wouldn't hesitate to use the Hunter either.

I don't seem to be helping you decide between the two at all,,,,,,,,.
More "This is what happened when I,,,,," and less "What would happen if I,,,,"

Last of the original Group Buy Honcho's.

My 150gr Hunter has a tapered bore ride and only engraves for about half of the bore ride length. Surprised me as this was not immediately evident in the drawing. Accuracy hasn't been all that great. I did see a measurable accuracy improvement by powder coating then nose sizing to increase the bore riding section's bearing surface. All that being said, my 7-mm-08 isn't the most cast bullet friendly, it's a 1-8 twist I had planned to use the heavy 175-180gr jacketed bullets with. I'm away from my work bench and will supply some measurements later.
