    I could never get it to stick to my boolits with the shake n bake method so I pitched the junk.

    Preheat the bullets before tumbling in powder. Makes a huge difference.

    Then you're doing something wrong. Works for me just fine though it certainly isn't the best powder to use.

    The powder is garbage...I could shake n tumble all day long and it still won't stick. I can take the same tub that the HF coating came out of add in smokes powder, shake for 30 seconds and get 100 percent coverage. Not doing anything wrong it just doesn't tumble. Someone wants to pay for shipping to prove me wrong on $6 junk powder be my guest.

    All I'm saying is I have several hundred if not maybe a thousand 45 caliber coated with the Harbor Freight red and it covered just fine. The other colors never worked but the red did and I've read many reports of others with the red. Something was wrong...I presently am using Eastwood powder and it without a doubt is far superior to the Harbor Freight stuff.
