    scope value

    First off.....I'm not looking to sell yet!
    I purchased a single shot rifle with a vintage Weaver KV 2-5 variable scope. What kind of value do these have if any?

    In my opinion, any scope that does not have a lifetime warranty that transfers without proof of purchase is worth nothing, and less than nothing if I'm foolish enough to try and shoot with it.

    Life's too short for a scope failure.

    never was a fan of the old weavers. I personaly wouldn't pay shipping cost for one. Just had to many of them fail even back in the day when they were new.
