    GC heighth

Would someone please measure the height of there 35 cal. GC. I purchased some from an individual and they are mighty short. Measuring on the outside of the check from the bottom to the upper edge they are .0785 inches high. And they just barely stay on before crimping.
The dia of my checks is ok. Just the height is very short. Kevin

    Kevin,

Our aluminum 35 checks have a height of 0.0740 and our copper checks have a height of 0.0785. Hope that helps!

Older Lyman copper and older Hornady copper checks, both - 0.068

New copper checks from Bullet Swaging Supply, 206 River Oaks Drive, West Monroe , LA. 71291.
    copper checks - .065
The new Bullet Swaging Supply checks work just fine. Been using them on 9 mm and 357/38 boolits.
