Guess I'd better have handles for those two straight eights. Please add two handles, for the 8 cavs, to my order (lines 2 and 3 under solids).

Thanks! I just thought you might want to add GC to the list on mine so there is no confusion later.

Miha is trying to wrap up a few closed group buys before he closes some more.

He will keep us in the loop he is very busy matching molds now for a couple other buys that closed.

    Have a Merry Christmas!

I need some advice, I'm on the list for an 8 cavity GC .358 but I keep wondering if I should change to a .360 mold. I have a new to me Interarms Rossi 92 as of last night and I'm about to purchase a Ruger GP100. I use Hitek coating and have .357 & .358 Lee sizing dies. I would appreciate some advice!

    Good morning and Merry Christmas

As a general rule of thump it’s easier to size than make them grow with one exception if you are sizing say 3-4 thou or more you may start to get some base deformation in the shape of wings. I have experienced this with softer bullets and excessive sizing.
I try to stay at around 2 thou of sizing.
I am not sure how much hi tek adds as I never have played with it not that it’s bad I just tried pc first and it worked so I stayed with it.
My powder add about a thou and a half so I choose a mold that casts close to my finished size that way I just clean them up and uniform them.
On my naked bullets I do the same when I run them thru the star to lube and size I like around 1-2 thou that way I do not get lube leakage around my bullet.

    Hope this helps!

    Merry Christmas!

Good rule of thumb Wasalmonslayer. Just like "I have cut it three times and it is still too short".

I don't know if you have ever done any fly fishing but I have a buddy that loves to throw out a statistic anytime someone gets a fly hung in a tree. He always says: "It has been proven that 99% of the time you will catch more fish if your fly is in the water." I always ask for details about that other 1%!

I'm leaning towards changing to a .360 diameter. How soon do I need to make my decision?

I have both that pistol and rifle, love em. When i GC, i tend towards 359 or 360 because i am also using lube. Alittle bigger only means i have to push harder on the sizing press.
