    1805 Harpers Ferry ......Auction !

As many know I'm trying to gather funds for a pending funeral service for a good family short on cash in Henrietta Texas . Your getting a good deal whatever you pay because it is going to a good cause . Fact is I'm a little short on 'cash' myself but my Lord has blessed me much and given more than I need . Lets help these folks out..Please !! I would not ask for myself but would ask for another . Reach deep in your pocket and heart .

Up for auction is a Pendersoli 1805 Harpers Ferry pistol ....not a common BP pistol you will see here often . BUT ! There is more , this pistol is ...*UNFIRED* ! Yep ..never had a flint in the cock and 'almost' untouched by human hands . I had to dig to the back of the safe to get it . PLUS iT has a bronze tone barrel , that was the reason I bought it because at the time I had two Harpers Ferry that were shooters . I have been told by two members on BP forums long ago in was a limited edition put out by Pendersoli but never researched it . If anyone has any information I would be interested myself .

    THE STORY .
I bought this at an estate auction from a lady whose husband had died . The pistol had been a retirement gift from the company he worked for in the 80's . It hung on their wall and he never even chucked a flint in it .

The auction will start at $1.00 . Payment will be PMO or cash . Auction will end at high noon on 7-26-17 (Next Wednesday) Texas central standard time . Thank you in advance for looking . Bid often and bid high ! Thank you

    Charlie (Boaz)

TAKE NOTE > A member messaged me last night to tell me that there could be a crack in the wood behind the barrel wedge on both sides of the pistol . He has dang good eyes because I couldn't see it holding it in my hand . But I got a magnifying glass and he is correct , there is a microscopic crack on each side directly behind the wedge . These are the best pictures I could get with my sorry camera .
If you have bid and this is a deal breaker for you then simply get a mod to remove your bid , nothing will be said and no hard feelings .

    Thank you Gunor !

I should have mentioned a few things for those that might not shoot black powder . Harper's ferry is 58 cal , shoots 575 RB , 1;48 twist .

    Thank you rancher1913 !
LOL , that anvil would cost a fortune to ship brother ! I would feel guilty about that . I used it back when I did a lot of welding , mainly for making decorative wrought iron . I retired it and made a lawn ornament out of it .

Those are pins that hold the brass under them in the stock for the ramrod .

those "holes" should be the pins for holding the ramrod entry thimble (which is brass on this model of pistol) to the stock . . .
