    Auction: Hawks

Two hawks , never been used . The story...there is always a story . I bought these at a rendezvous bout twenty years ago from a blacksmith vendor just because I liked em . Nice hawks in my opinion or would not have em (picture below) . I don't need them now and a family in Henrietta Texas needs to prepare for a funeral . They are short on cash , all they bring will go to that need .
Auction will start at $1.00 . Payment will be made by PMO or cash .I will pay shipping . Auction will end July 22 (Saturday) at high noon central standard Texas time . Bid high and bid often the money will serve a good cause . I thank you in advance for looking and hope you reach into your pocket and your heart .

I'd throw in the mesquite stump if you want to pay the shipping on it too ! Your a good man rancher 1913 . Seen you in action before in a good cause . I'm proud of all you . This forum has good people with good hearts .....I have seen it , I have experienced first hand the caring here . I have been refreshed in understanding that how many people are out there that ask no questions and just want to help . In a cause not that long ago I received so many notes and letters from those that could not contribute money but sent their care , concern and love on a piece of paper . I was in awe of the out pouring of wanting to help the only way they could . GOD bless you all .

Will it fit in a large flat rate box?

LOL - Boaz - the last time I moved an anvil it was a 100lb one - picked it up and moved it from one end of the shop to the other - used to be able to do that when I was a lot younger - that was the last time I tried it - two weeks later I had hernia surgery. Looking at that one - do ya suppose it would fit in a USPS "flat rate box"?

Nice hawks - good luck with your auction and it's going for a good cause!

Thank you shootinfox2 ! May our Lord bless you Okies , lol . My dad was born in Indian Territory (Oklahoma) in 1901 in a dugout west of Stage Stand Oklahoma . My grandfather moved to Indian Territory in 1896 from South Texas, bought a section on the Chisolm trail north of Duncan Oklahoma to deal with the cattle drives to Kansas . He bought and sold horses and cattle , sold fresh horses to the drovers and to the cavalry at Fort Sill in Lawton . He had been a trail hand himself .

The trail herds always had stragglers , cattle and horses wore out from the drive . I'll stop there , lol history bores most these days . Most of my people are still in Oklahoma .
