    musket cap maker tool

    Back to a cap maker. I have seen ads for them, but since I have no need I don't remember the mfg.. I know there are some out there so anyone have info for the OP?

    Gee, I recognize the drawing Retumbo posted. Its for making caps about #11 in size, the winged type musket caps are larger. Here's more info the small size capmaker.

    I never could figure out a good way to make the wings on musket caps.

    Finally found one and just got it from the mailbox (I was stalkin the qt mailgal). If you go to the guys Ebay page make sure you get the right one. It's $56.04 and he (vindex is his ebay name) has other prices that are more, got to make a buck I guess. Figured I'd let ya's know for folks that always wanted one.
