    WTS: 223 and 458 j words

.458 Rainier 350gr FP bullets, box of 500. These make a great plinking bullet for the 45-70 and 458 Socom. $80 shipped. I found a 3.5 oz jar of Hi Tek bronze powder today.... there's probably 2.5-3.0 oz left. If you want the .458 bullets, I'll throw the Hi Tek powder in the box with them.

223 Federal/Lake City M193 55gr FMJ bullets. These are seconds. Some have cannelures and some do not. There are a couple of different meplat profiles. These are not target bullets, but I loaded some up in front of 25.0 gr H335 and was averaging 1.5-2" groups. $56 per K shipped. I have 4K available. ALL SOLD

A couple of questions. What do you mean when you say these are not target bullets? Is it a matter of sorting the cannalured from non or are there additional differences that need to be sorted for?

I did not sort by cannelure or meplat and got 1.5-2" groups out of a RRA carbine. I loaded them to 2.240" and while there were differences in OAL due to different meplat profiles, it did not seem to have an adverse affect on accuracy. I imagine if one wanted to spend the time to sort them, you could do even better. These won't shoot 1/2 MOA like Sierra Matchkings, that's what I meant by them not being a target bullet.
