The valve was leaking and the pump cup was worn out . Bought a 2240 center section off e-bay .Had a barrel clamp off a discovery . Put the top and bottom of the 1377 on the center section . I now have a 1740 with a 10 inch barrel . Marvin

Congrats, that makes a great combo.... You can back off the hammer spring (shorten it) and save a lot of CO2 without any significant loss in velocity.... nearly double the shots....

Thanks . Have not chony it but the one with a 7 inch barrel is averaging 500 fps and the 2300 460 fps with 8 grain pellets . That is tethered to a 62 ci tank 3k in 1k out with air . Both of these 1740 are getting over 500 shots between 3k and 1k . The 2300 has a different valve and gets a lot more shots per fill . Marvin
