I'd love to know if anyone has used the 3 way trimmer. Does it completely eliminate the need to deburr? That is the one step that I loathe more than any other reloading procedure.

I had some years ago, I had a constant problem with overcuts on one side and undercuts on the other. The pilots were undersized as well.

    They may be better today.

They've saved me a bunch of time doing 5.56 and .30 brass for my self loaders. I just modified my old hand crank trimmer to accept a cordless drill, set the 3 way trimmer and do batches at a time. I think they're one of the best time savers RCBS has come up with.

I use the RCBS 3-way in my Hornady trimmer and it is the bees knees. The Lee 3-way and the Lyman 3-way did not work as well for me.

Yes, just switch out the pilot for different calibers and yes, no need to debur.

I have also had a problem with slight over cuts and undercuts. That said, I have 3. Keep one set up for 22 cal and one set up for 30 cal. The other is set up as needed for the other oddball calibers I load for as needed. I also have a Hornady 3 station case prep with outside and inside deburring. So small quantities now get trimmed on the rcbs and deburred on the Hornady.
