This thread reminds me of a project of similar provenance, a Contender pistol using 160gr bullets in .32H&R cases. It's a Shane Henry hasn't cottononed onto the major drawback of their tube-loading mechanism, as I'd love to have one of their Big Boy rifles suppressed.

I am running 120 Grain HP from Mihec and from a 6" S&W model 16 that was converted. That bullet over 12.0 grams of H110 I get 1220 FPS it is very accurate and in wet news print I get great penetration and expansion is fantastic. Penetration is 16" in water soaked news print. I am fine with this load the bullet is rated deep because of the shorter cylinder of the converted Model 16 S&W cylinder. As compared to the Ruger single six. This is a GC bullet.

I see its a older thread.
Looking at heavy 327 data. Many mention trying 150 range bullets. I have found thatbthe lyman 440 works to the crimp Groove in the short single seven cylinder. I sized them .314 and that fits my throats very well. .312 drops theu.

Any one tried this bullet?
