    Big bullets

    I posted these a while ago, before we had this section.
    Saved these from going to the scrap yard.
    Dated 1942.
    Not sure what shot these.
    I know Fort Kamehameha had disappearing guns, but I think they were of bigger caliber.
    There were also motors, but again I think they were bigger.

    Something beside them to indicate size would be really nice. Also material they are made of to. Interesting old projectiles just the same.

    Might be projectile for a recoilless artillery round.

    There was no 106mm in 1942. These look to be bronze. I can't even guess at what they might be for.

    I forgot about these.
    I'll have to dig them out and measure them.
    They are heavy.
    Wish I knew more about them.

    My guess is Coastal Artillery. More like 12 to 15 inch projectiles. Looks to be armor piercing as well. james
