2017 Alliant reloading data is out in PDF

Not sure if anybody has seen this yet, but the new alliant reloading manual is out and available for download in PDF format.

    http://www.alliantpowder.com/resourc...ant_Powder.pdf

I really like alliant powders, as they are one of the few left that freely publish cross platform reloading data. I am an alliant kinda guy...

On every question of construction let us carry ourselves back to the time when the Constitution was adopted, recollect the spirit manifested in the debates, and instead of trying what meaning may be squeezed out of the text or invented against it, conform to the probable one in which it was passed.

They've been doing this for years. I have everyone back to 2012. And almost all of them back to 1987 when they were still Hercules. The older ones can be found online fairly easily.

Thanks for the link & availability reminder; just downloaded a copy. Alliant powders are always my very first go-to's.

Any opinions on the listed 13.7gr maximum BD load in 44Mag/240gr JHP?
That seems a little low compared to what I recall from my Lyman & Hodgdon manuals & QL.
I'm thinking the hollow point & rather short OAL (1.575") is taking up more powder room in the case than I'm used to, compared to JSP's & 1.610"-1.620" ...

Zero rifle data for older caliber and zero rifle data using 300-MP ... a versatile handgun powder that many of us have powder charges for the classics - 32-40 and 38-55

They did expand their loadings with BE-86. That powder has worked so well for me in so many different cartridges.
