RWS classic 34 why no chqatter about them ?

I shot two 22 cal. stock out the box that delivered sub half inch groups that were knocking at the door of 1/4" at 25 yards. Benched with a 3X9X40-AO utg True hunter 90 dollar scope.
No barrel droop, scope is 1/16th off the barrel at the objective lens, mounted at the factory dove tail with a cheep (very cheep ) pair of 1" med. height rings.

So like what ? 3/4" at 50 yards, not to shabby I say.
Hate is like drinking poison and hoping the other man dies.

The effective range of an excuse is ZERO Meters

The RWS 34 is an excellent air rifle and certainly a cut above most of the airguns discussed here, unfortunately when some think of airguns they think "cheap".

Nobody cares about quality spring guns anymore. I have an ANIB 22 460 that I can't get $300.00 for !

The RWS 34 is a classic you can do no wrong spending
your money on that airgun and with a tuning it will hold
it's own with the 600-700 dollar guns .

I bought a like new 1998 year model RWS 34 in a local pawn shop for a hundred bucks. It's my favorite air rifle. Gp

I have a RWS/Diana model 35 (exactly the same as the current RWS 34 except the sights). I got it when I was a kid in Germany in 1969. I can't begin to imagine how many pellets have been through it. Still works like it did the day I got it. I have scoped it a few times but the 35 came with a nice receiver sight so that's what's on it now. It's by my work bench in the garage and gets used on my short indoor range all the time. Hope you get a fraction of the use from the new one that I have gotten from mine.
