    Which Sizing System?

One of the last items I'm gonna need to get, is something to size my boolits.

Anything I cast is going to get PC'd, and I'm never going to cast for anything that's going to need GCs. My attraction to casting was for cheap bullets to fill all this brass I have. The only thing I plan on casting for is 9mm, 40 S&W, 38/357, and probably 30 Carbine now that I know it can be casted for and perform well without GC's.

I hadn't really looked around that much, and the Lee sizers seemed like the obvious choice. Then I stumbled on a YouTube video today demonstrating the NOE setup. Seems like a much more flexible way to go, and ultimately cheaper? I know there are other sizers out there too, but I've not looked at them yet.

Which system would you choose based on that criteria?

If you don't need to lube and don't have any dies yet the way to go is NOE. The cost of bushings is cheap and you have a lot more options. The cost savings is a lot if you cast for a lot of calibers.

+1 on the NOE.And the sizer diameters are more practical.

I have the NOE also, didn't want to buy a kit for each caliber i cast for (about 8-9 right now). and have 8 red tubs and 8 bottles of Alox. I went to Lee for the pushers as they were much cheaper and had a red bucket from a 40 bulge buster kit. You break even at about 4 calibers since the lee is 20-25 each.

NOE all the way. Lee is a total **** shoot on whether the size marked is the size you get. With stuff from NOE if it says .358 then it's .358.
    Semper Fi!

    Currently casting for .223, .308, .30-06, .30-40 Krag, 9mm, .38/.357, 10mm, 44 Mag and 45 ACP.

    I like strange looking boolits!

If you aren't lubing then NOE is the way to go. Lee dimensions are not accurate too many times. Just my nickels worth.

Received my NOE stuff a couple of days ago. Great quality!

May I ask where you purchased that plastic organizer?

I have many of the same ones. They aren't even close to the quality of the Plano ones. No permitter seal means it doesn't seal the contents. I like the one from HF but they serve two different purposes. If you want to control moisture the HF on isn't an option.

I reload in the climate control of the house so I dont see any need for the waterproof model, but if they are stored in a shop or garage it may be necessary. Just offering another option that works well for me.

I use both the Lee and NOE, I may be the odd ball but have found the NOE run small. A little lapping compound and all is good. Both will get the job done, the NOE system is less expensive.

Lee dimensions are not accurate too many times. I have both, find I use the Lee more. Both have a problem with sizing small for soft alloy. And I got a 30 cal PCd stuck in the NOE, need to melt it out.
NOE expanders work as well as Lyman, etc. but the holder design for all is dumb. I find I use the Lyman cause I have them set up for each cal., no adjustment needed so no chance for screw ups.
    Whatever!
