Home made Brenneke slugs from my home made mold, and sporting a home made handle (I didn't make that)
The wads are injection molded in a (you guessed it) home made injection mold and attached to the slug with a small screw.

Very nice Capt. Nice job on the image composition, and engineering prowess of you projectiles.
You must tell us the story behind the mould and wads.

well it looks like Photobucket has cut me off...this is not good, Most of my posted photos are only on Photobucket, as they were mostly uploaded from my old laptop, which crashed last October and all photos on that harddrive are now gone.

I was wondering how soon before it would happen. These guys are so unreliable. Maybe you can get a flash drive set up and then copy all the images still at PB on to it and a least save the images. Can't tell you how many redundant image files I have across 5 or 6 computers and flash drives along with external hard drives but so glad I'm a image hoarder.

I am not able to download anything from PB with paying their extortion. I'm working on a 'work-a-round', using Google images. I can see my images (one at a time) in a google search, but it's time consuming. I figured that out, when looking for a specific photo, of course I am unable to find that one ...so I haven't attempt to download them via Google, just yet.

Well, the project took two and a half year. You can read about my trials and tribulations here, but, alas! No pictures, thanks to PhotoBucket <SPIT>:

I don't know about you all, but I give a thumbs up to that slug of land cruiser in Hot tamers carport.. looks like he Powder coated it as well...

Which wad you have in those .678g RB loads.. I see they are loaded with chedite hulls and looks to be magnum primers over 38g steel? Also nice looking hog leg you shoot them with.

Smugmug is a good hosting sight too, more user friendly than Google photos, which used to be Picasa.

I like the idea, did they shoot very well? I have a greener martini police gun in 12 ga that I was thinking of loading with round balls but the mini balls look interesting. The idea was to have sort of a smokeless powder mustektoon when I don't have time for cleaning up after shooting bp.

I noticed that the 678 roundball isn't in the new lee catalogue.. it goes from 600 to 690 now, does anyone know any more about this??? I was wanting to get a 678, because I heard the 690 shears petals...
