    Silicosis can be caused by any type of sand, including the common beach sand. If you are working for prolonged periods with dry sand and it produces dust, you are at risk. Mostly occurs in factories that bag and otherwise handle it. Look on a bag of play sand or swimming pool filter sand for the warning. It is very rare and unlikely to occur from sand at a beach.

    I have seen some plastic WW in the past fill with some sand.it was odd to see. but now I stay way from WW to buy because there will be too much waste.I just get the soft lead from the salvage yard.Not much waste that way
