I need your prayers.

On Thursday morning I will be going into the VA hospital to have shots put in my lower back. The opening in my L1-L4 vertibra has narrowed to 3 mm. I am in constant pain but try not to let it show. I have been told that there is something like a 10-20 percent chance that I could come out of this paralized from the waist down. If that is God's will I can accept it. It would be hard as I am trying to stay as active as I can. I need your prayers that He would see fit to let me NOT be paralized so that I can at least go on preaching the Gospel Of Christ.
Thanks my brothers and sisters. I know I can count on you to pray.

Albert, brother...my prayers are with you. I've had this done, between l3 and l4, and it was a breeze. It did provide some relief......not a forever fix, but it did ease some of the pain. Have faith brother...you'll keep walkin', and God willing with a bit more pep in your step!!

Prayers up for you Albert. I've had a little experience with a disintegrated disc, and I had no idea one could have that much pain and still live! FWIW, as I understand it (and I'm no doc), the only real cure is to fuse the vertebrae. That's what they did for me, anyway, and it has given me ZERO problems since. A lot of ins. companies insist on doing everything else before resorting to that, though. I truly wish you well, and will pray for a full healing of your problem, at least for a while.
