cast bullet seating for 375 Winchester

    G'day all

I was just out in the shed making a test dummy cartridge for the 375 Winchester for some cast bullets from a lee mould that drop at .379 and lo and behold I just found out the .379 cast bullet won't fit in the bullet seating die which I should have realised but the light bulb didn't turn on until after I tried seating the bullet lol, so I'm guessing if I buy a 38-55 bullet seating die that should solve the problem but I'm not sure if the 38-55 bullet seating die will take a .379 diameter bullet, it should as I believe the 38-55 is .378 but I wanted to make sure. could a very kind person please confirm if my thinking is correct.

    Thanks

    Regards, Zoranno

I have an early .375 Big Bore that is actually .380 I use Hornady dies and have no problem seating .381 bullets. Do you use an M die to expand your case mouth?

The RCBS cowboy seater is .380 in the bullet guide section.

My RCBS dies will not take a bullet that large. ( not the Cowboy version)
