    WTB - 1911 Magazines - 9MM

I am interested in purchasing one or more 9MM magazines for a 1911 Government Model project I am working on. Tell me what you have.

    Thanks for looking,
    Robert

I picked up a couple of MecGar 10 round magazines for my Springfield Range Officer and have run about 5 magazine full through them with no issues.
I got mine on eBay but they are available other places.

What is the difference between "Springfield Style" and everything else?

I purchased 2 of the Metalform mags you suggested.

Still looking for 3 or more additional mags.

I am not certain, but I believe it has to do with the groove on the side of the mag near the nose area of the cartridge, the little spacer at the rear of the mag to adjust for cartridge length, and the shape of the follower.

I have three Mec-Gar 1911 9mm mags that ran perfectly in my Rock Island GI Model 1911 9mm. They've each been used for 3-5 mag loads, so are well-tested but still essentially new. Finish is blued.

Happy to sell them to you at any fair price we agree upon. PM me, or email me directly at danamangham@hotmail.com.

Thanks, and I hope to hear from you.
