400 gr corbon out of a 6 inch smith.
Results usually left splinters on the entire 14.5 foot table.

You should join the local club in Elkhart and Bristol, they have Bowling Pin matches all summer. Much closer!

This was held by Richard Davis and Armor Express and is the rebirth of the old Second Chance pin shoot. I did well enough for my first time. Next year will be even better.

And people looked at me funny when I was shooting pins with a Desert Eagle 44 mag or my Dan Wesson 445 Supermag with an 8"barrel.

We had a guy try this event with a DE 44 mag but it didn't have enough umpfffppp to get the pins halfway down the table.

I was using 250gr Sierra JFP match bullets with a max load of H110, then switched to 300gr jsp with a stout load of H110. Both worked well and actually made the DE have recoil. When using the DW 445 SM, I found a hard cast bullet with a big flat point ( 320gr LBT WFNGC) threw pins off the table with authority. I wish I still had that mold.... I still have the 445 SM and may have to see if there are any local pin matches.
