Lord we ask you to comfort all these families with you grace and strength at this tragedy
Amen to Jim's prayer. Being lost at sea must be the lonliest lonely in the world. Being a sailor myself once, I had a few thoughts about that. May God's mercy and love overcome the families' grief. Amen.
Eternal Father, strong to save,
Whose arm hath bound the restless wave,

Its own appointed limits keep;
Oh, hear us when we cry to Thee,
For those in peril on the sea!
Let every nation know, whether it wishes us well or ill, that we shall pay any price, bear any burden, meet any hardship, support any friend, oppose any foe, in order to assure the survival and the success of liberty.
I've played this over & over in my mind. Lord please send Thy Grace to these families.

These men, and all those that came before, and those that will follow, GAVE ALL for US. We can never repay this debt.
We can only honor them with our prayers. Those who answered the call for prayers understand this. These few, are also men of exceptional insight.

Father, When a parent loses a child it is awful. When they lose a child to an enemy it is somehow worse. Please be with these families and lift them up as they deal with their loss. Help them to understand that their sacrifice was without selfish intents and were for the protection of their nation, their family, and their brothers and sisters in harms way. May God be tender to these families and wrap your loving arms around those that have gone to rest with You. AMEN
