The true manstopper was swaged not cast.
Pretty impossible to have a HB at both ends and still be able to pour in lead.

The "modetate" manstopper ie flatnosed one can me made with the RCBS mould milled down @1/8"

Yes, that's been discussed several times here. Your Midway link sure isn't exactly a bullet one could use without major modifications(not everyone here owns or operates a machine shop)? I really was aiming at the many bullet mold manufactures than frequent here?guess I'll just have to do my best and design one for myself on Mountain Molds webpage?

Anyway, thanks for your help, I think?

Well i don't know about that!
I load and shoot it as is and it shoots better than the big old original Webley bullet.

If you are overrun by rabies infested zombies and absolutly need that big hollow point then load the bullet backwards.
I have done it and it shoots about the same at 27yds.

Here is a rough idea of what you demand:

A HB plug at each end of a mould.
As JarJar Binks would say: Wheressa de lead gonna go?

If industry has'nt come up with a design in the past 120 years then i dont think it's feseable (The manstopper came out in 1897).

Contact some of the bullet swagers and ask if they will do you a split die so you can have lube grooves in the bullet.

Not sure about what you're talking? I have a hollow based 265 grainer round nosed I think I bought from you recently and am now wanting the "man stopper"(218 grainer, full wadctutter?) with hollow base only? Two cavity brass? Over time people have called things about the .455s different things so much it's confusing. Also, I looked at your link and now am more confused about just what you make? I did not see but, one Webley there?

As we speak I have some of this molds available (both 2 or 4 cav, .455 or .457). Not listed in my e-shop yet.

    http://castboolits.gunloads.com/show...-mold-(re-run)

If you would like to see hollow base man stopper, we need to run group buy (at least 25 molds).

Start a group buy for a 220-gr HB manstopper and the list will fill out quickly.
