    Arsenal Molds

I ordered a custom mold for my .40 and 10mm from Arsenal and Jared was awesome to work with. I had him create a podwer coat WFN (403-200 WFN-PC) and I hope the quality is as good as my NOE molds.

Guess I'll soon find out and I'm excited!

I received my Arsenal 403-180 WFN this week and it's an awesome mold. If you use brake cleaner be warned that it will remove the coating on the sprue plate.

    Currently casting for .223, .308, .30-06, .30-40 Krag, 9mm, .38/.357, 10mm, 44 Mag and 45 ACP.

I've always used dawn and a tooth brush for cleaning, but I will keep this in mind. Thanks for the feedback!

I forgot to mention that I requested that a trough be cut in the sprue plate too.

I guess I am missining something. They may have a great product but why not go to Accurate and get the best???
As I recall, please correct me if I am wrong, but did not Arsenal have some "issues" early on.
    Accurate
    Why not get the best??!

I try to support all who support the shooting community. My goal is to buy and use products by each manufacture, etc and pass my own judgment on the best!

My Arsenal was $75 for a four cavity. Accurate is a wee bit more than that.

I have a number of arsenal molds and all cast very well. I also likely NOE molds. I think the NOE molds look a little better cosmetically, but I don't like to wait. Arsenal molds are usually within a week from order to delivery.

I have several Arsenal molds and I'm very pleased with them and I'm having another made very soon. Jared is a great guy to deal with. Molds are of excellent quality and priced very reasonable. And who says Accurate molds are the best? I've never used them and have no reason to because I'm pleased with my Arsenal molds

Interesting - I sub contracted to them for some time but it didn't work out as a long term thing.
Could never get the volume I needed to make a living.

The way it all went down I think this is kind of a kick in the seat of the pants.
Let alone they had full access to all my drawings - not cool at all.

We are not associated with them in any way and are requesting that they don't use
our name as a reference in any way shape or form.

Two sides to a story and I have read both. Since I wasn't there, I will make my decisions based on my direct dealings.

I have several dealings with different manufactures and keep most of the bad stuff (more of a bad taste then anything) to myself as everyone should base their decisions on personal experience.

Now, if Manafacture(s), etc are actually going against my belief (anti's) or a product is harmful to the user, etc then that is different.

I'm with Jmort on this one. Al has always been a phone call away. Never tired of my questions and was always helpful. I have more NOE molds than anything. I also have a fair amount of MP and Accurate molds as well. Matter of fact, I may play with the Accurate mold configure thingy today and order me a new one.
