    Anyone heard from Starmac?

I was wondering if anyone has heard from or seen starmac.
He apparently hasn't posted in almost two months. He is hopefully just taking advantage of the summer sun up there.

starmac is one interesting fellow. We met for lunch last year when SWMBO and I got into his part of the world. He is not the type to brag or boast, but the more he talks the more his depth of knowledge and skills shows. Hope to make that run again and find him still available to visit. Also hope all is well with him.

I'm bringing this back around because I'm kind of curious about him too. He was a frequent poster and then just stopped. I have to say I'm a little concerned. If anyone knows anything about him please speak up. His cohorts here miss him.

A reminder that if one wants to keep in touch with people here they need to change their profiles to accept email from members. Sometimes we just take a time out.

Agree 100%, SWMBO and I had dinner with Starmac and his Lovely Bride several times while we in Alaska in February 2016.

I like it that the guys are concerned about Starmac and keep this thread current. As I remember it, He drives lumber trucks in Alaska. That, in my view, is an intense job and cause enough to be a little worried that he hasn't checked in for awhile. Anyway, miss him and Looking forward to any updates as to how he is doing.

A few years back he posted a photo of him driving thru Texas during the high summer time.

That boy don't let grass grow under his feet.

I also hope he is just to busy to post here.

Starmac was good enough to send me a pm about driving in Alaska when I mentioned it was a dream of mine when I was much younger and offer to put me in touch/send me a list of several companies that would be hiring up there if I was really interested. Nothing beats someone actually in a location for job information. I hope all is well up that way with him

This activity on the Members list shows he last visited in April. If his email was there someone could use it. He can't read a PM without visiting.
