'Nother vote for the Rockchucker!! Currently, I've got two Dillons, two Lee's, and an RC...ain't nuthin' I do on any of the others I can't do (and sometimes better!) on that ol' Rockchucker.

I normally don't fall for the "If you could only have one _____" silly threads but I have the best for me press already. Progressive presses don't fit my personality/lifestyle, and I own a Lee turret, but my all time favorite is a Forster Co-Ax.
My Anchor is holding fast!
Rock Chucker, mainly because you can pull the 7/8" bushing and install 1 1/4" dies for the BIG stuff like Sniders and Martinis. Slow, but not much it won't do.
(and yes, I'd sorely miss the Dillon's RPM)
WWJMBD?
In the Land of Oz, we cast with wheel weight and 2% Tin, Man.
I have a couple of LNL AP's, a T7, a RCBS Jr, and a Hornady LNL single stage. If I could only keep one, it'd be the T7.
There would be so much more room for activities in my reloading room. You could only have one press?
As long as it's green I'm good to go.I have both the T-7 and a RCBS Rockchucker, would like to find a clean old Hollywood someday.I rarely use the T-7 98% is done on the RCBS,so Rockchucker it is.
If only one press it would be my Lee Cast turrent press. But I dont have to use just one, so I also have a classic cast single, a pro1000 and a couple 550Bs also on my bench.
I have a 650, a T-7, a couple of RC's, LLM, LCT, and a Bonanza. LOVE them all, but if I could only own one, it would be the Redding T-7.
Dillon 1050. While it would be expensive for caliber conversions and not a good choice for most but if I could only keep one it would be the 1050.
I currently own the following:
2 Dillon Super 1050’s one for large primer and one for small primer
1 Dillon RL 1000
3 Dillon 650’s one for large primer, one for small primer and one dedicated to 45/70
1 Lyman turret
2 RCBS Big Max A4’s
2 RCBS A2’s
1 RCBS Rock Chucker
1 CH4D Champion O press
1 Forster Co-Ax
1 Herter’s Super Model 3
1 Herter U-3 Super
1 Wells C
2 Mec 9000g’s
1 Pacific 266 with conversions kits in 12, 20, 28 and 410
2 PW 375's - one for 10 gauge and one for 3 1/2" 12 gauge
1 Mec Jr.

The 1050 is a great press but it can't load everything I load.
I suppose in a world where a guy could only own one press he might also be stuck with just one gun...

Jmorris I am guessing you meant "can not load" some calibers. True that shell plates are not available for some cartridges for the 1050 from Dillon.
I have the tools and ability to make my own if needed. While expensive custom made shell plates are available in anything you want.
The Redding T-7. Built like a tank.
Dillon 550. Because the bulk of my metallic shooting is with pistol calibers. I can make it work for load development if I had to.

Yes, can(n't). If I could only have one press but could build anything I want. I would buy the most complex and build the rest. Maybe even an extra tall ram and tool head with a single stage adapter so you could do 50 BMG if you had enough time.
In that case it needs to be "If you only have "fill in the blank" dollars to spend AND couldn't spend it on more than one press, what would you get." The 1050 we are talking about will burn up the better part of $2000 setup for a single caliber. In the spirit of the thread, let's say newly married/newly divorced or shoestring budget. We've all been there at some point, had to make hard choices when it comes to finances at some point.

Theres a fine line between genius and crazy .. I'm that line
and depending on the day I might just step over that line !!!
Only 1. I do not load rifle so I'm not as limited by large cases. Either my JR3 or Lee 3 hole turret with auto index. If I was loading rifle my choices may be different.
