    Operation Overlord - June 6, 1944

In memory of those who gave their lives to fight fascist/socialist tyranny.

    They are the GREATEST GENERATION

Never forget the price of blindly following a government.

In our USAR unit when I first joined there was a lot of NCO's from WWII, including some that were in units that landed on D-Day. every year we would have a formation honoring them and those who didn't make it. Including personal stories from some of the NCO's who lived through it. Once in a while the solder would not be able to continue with his story. That was a good name for them. "The Greatest Generation"
