    That's about right. I use ARMSCOR 110 grain FMJ/RN with 37.5 grains of A2460 and get 2620 fps-- and that's not even a max load.

    Zippy ! Never saw that, but do remember the "accelerator" which was a .30-30 cartridge loaded with (IIRC) a saboted .223. Haven't seen those in decades.

    I didn't know they made those in 30-30... I had some 30-06 Accelerators once... A Long Time Ago....

    30-30, 308 Win, 30'06. And the "wildcat" 30 Toombs (sp?), the same projectile in a 7.62x25mm case.
