Might be technique. Did you shake the bowl quite violently to include up and down motion?

Might be humidity. Humidity kills some.

Did you shake the poop out of it before you put the boolits in? I mean, go nuts on it? (recently posted by someone on here as beneficial)

Then put boolits in and swirl, swirl, swirl for a couple of minutes; and then violently up and down for 30 seconds? Hard enough that you think it might be too hard?

    That usually works.

(and pm Smoke4320 about his starter kit)

Follow everyone's advice but start with half the bullets ( or less). I have some humid days here in NC and to many bullets in the tube just doesn't work. I do about half and shake the snoot out of them.

Like Beagle333 said. Try shaking and swirling to build a charge with no bullets in it at first. One of the other posts report that this works when it is humid. It also looks like your BBs are not coated. This is a sign that you are not building static. I had this problem with BBs that I purchased at a local store. I switched to Smokes black BBs and I saw a big difference in the coating. Some report good luck with the Wally Mart black BBs. I pick some up but have not tried them yet.

Another thing to watch out for is any oil or any type lube. I was having same problems on some shiny smooth bullets. Started wearing nitrile gloves from HF when handling bullets until after coating. Like posts above the charge is everything. Oil from fingers kills a large part of the charge.

Only way I could get HF red to work was to preheat the bullets to 140f. Eastwood light ford blue is much easier to use. No heat or BBs needed.

Do your shaking in an air conditioned room where the humidity is low. I find the up and down to be the most important. 10 seconds total with about 7 up and down and 3 swirl works fine for me.
South Louisiana is always high humidity.

Welcome! Smoke4320 is a well respected member who has done all the research and come up with a time and again proven methods and the products to make it work. I have tried a couple different brands of powder, but only buy mine from him now. You can find his page under vendors or search his name, and send him a pm.
