    Brain surgery today.

    Please take a moment to say a prayer for my daughter Mary who is having surgery to remove a life threatening tumor from her brain. The tumor is compressing the brain stem and cerebrum so leaving the tumor alone is not an option.
    Mary is a much loved teacher of very bright high school students as well as being my only child and mother to my grandson.

    We will know more in the coming days but the surgeon was very positive.

    Father, Please walk with the surgeons that will do the surgery on Mary today. Please show them the path they need to take to restore her to her family, friends and students. Please take all pain and fear away and allow the family a peaceful seas while her surgery is on going. All is possible through You and I give You all the praise for what You do for us each day. AMEN

    So far no updates which should mean the surgery is continuing smoothly. It is very difficult to be here in the mid-west while Mary is on the west coast. Mom and step-dad are both medical people and are there to help during recovery.
    More updates when available.

    Sunday update.
    Mary is in the healing phase where there is considerable pain and double vision. Since coming out of the recovery room Mary has been aware of her surroundings and does not seem to have any memory loss.
