Sprue Cutter for old style round ball bag moulds

Harbor Freight #90708 micro flush cutter makes a real Jim Dandy sprue cutter. Aside for being a real useful nail trimmer, the little cutter pliers sold by Harbor Freight work great for cutting the sprue on those big round balls that come out of those moulds from England made to order for round ball shooters in big muskets. These moulds, aside from being a bargain and working with Lee 6-cavity handles, have this outrageous sprue. These tough little cutters get right in there & slice that sprue off slick as anything.

Didn't know where to put this, maybe it belongs in muzzleloaders somewhere?

They also work great with the Sharpshooter buckshot molds that produce a "tree" of pellets. Another HF tool to consider is the $45 rock tumbler. Put your Lead balls in there with a pinch of graphite and tumble them overnight to make them more uniform.
