    A4 Big Max

Lubedude and Kevin, here it is. Looks little used, serial number is 03828. What the actual range is I don't yet know.

This press will go into the ARTCA archives. I picked it up from a gentleman last Monday, 100 miles south of Grand Junction Colorado. When he quoted me the price it made sense for me to drive over and get it, sight unseen, as I was in Denver at the time. I had been wanting one for a long time but would not pay eBay prices.

Included with the press is all the parts that came with it, green cartridge box, little plastic primer cup, wrench, two shellholder adapters and the ram prime. Interestingly the ram is threaded 7/8-14 that allows the ram prime die to thread all the way in allowing it to be used as a shellholder adapter and providing a larger throat opening.

    Ken

Sure looks nice Ken, so glad you were able to take advantage of the deal.

As you know, you even scored better than imagined since you got those hard to get parts with the deal! It seems that most of the A4s sold online don't include those gems.

I agree... I only got one head for the ram... Second from left in your photo... Would have loved to have gotten the other parts too...

Very nice. I have Big Max Serial Number 3. It belonged to Fred Huntington. I have 2 or 3 others that aren't mounted.

So Cassidy, what are your other serial #s. I'm trying to get a sense of how many were made also. Mine is 06668. And in another thread Idaho Sharpshooter's 097XX. How's that for thread revival!

Thanks Iowa Fox. I was happy as I bought it sight unseen. Another treat was the drive south from Grand Junction, beautiful country. On the way home I headed east along US 50 and over Monarch Pass. Stopped at the top and took the lift to the top of the mountain. Cold and windy at 12,000 feet but it was worth it.
