I've acquired the Lyman 452389 which is a 185 gr button nose wadcutter and now I need some help.
I can figure out powder charge, 4.2 grains of Bullseye!
Where I need some help is OAL. If you've loaded this boolit could ya help me out?
Thanks.

Long long ago I used that bullet for my 25 yd timed and rapid fire load with 3.7 Bullseye. It was extremely accurate at that range and would shoot into an inch out of my wad gun. It did not hold up that well at 50yds and there I used 452460 for slowfire. I loaded it the same as 200 gr swc's with just a tiny bit of the shoulder out of the case.

Got that one to try in the 1858 Remington. Sounds like it might work in that newfangled Colt too!
Thanks fecmech,
I'll give that a shot.
