I just went back and checked my order with SGammo.com . As it turns out it is a 5M case of American Eagle for $251. and change delivered . Seemed pretty reasonable to me and not far from what I paid for a case of Federal Champions ammo nine years ago . If it performs as well as the Champion ammo I'll be happy .

Even Midway has a bunch of their rimfire ammo in stock, and that wasn't generally the case before the shortage. I'm seeing a lot on the market now for .04-.06 a round.

pmc zappers and win wildcats are splitting the rim on firing wright into my face with 2 different rifles NOT GOOD

I bought a 500 round box of Remington Thunder Bolts at WalMart the other day for $21.76 + tax. I'm definitely not a fan of Rem TBs but at that price I had to buy them. I tried them in a semi auto pistol and a revolver and found them to well made and accurate. Not like the Thunder Bolt junk I was so happy to use up years ago.

I was noticing the fall in 22LR prices, thinking about the dirty dogs that brought wives, cousins, uncles, friends etc into LGSs buying up ammo then turning around and (trying to) selling them at crazy inflated prices. I hope those crud covered canines are sitting (and taking a loss) on more ammo than they could burn in two lifetimes.

Still a bit high up here in Canada but AVAILABLE which is nice. I always kept a spare brick on hand but now I keep two.

I've shot plenty of .22 ammo from prior to WWII without problems,

Your ammo was either stored poorly or there's something wrong with the guns. I would bet poor storage.

A nickle has been the going benchmark on 22 lr for a couple of weeks now..lost of local private sales..folks dumping inventory before our new ammo sales laws kick in on Jan. 1...Bought 1000 rounds of 22 WRM mixed flavors but all good stuff for $150 which was pretty reasonable....Stocked to the hilt as my old arthritic hands are crying for more 22 shooting and less with the big boomer.

Yep....the great Kommunist Colony of Kalifornia...no internet sales unless the shipment goes to an FFL....he adds his handling fee and the buyer has to have a special ammo purchase card, etc...no face to face sales to family or friends..again has to go through a dealer, etc....this whole mess is going to make law breakers out of lots of law abiding citizens...going to strip sales taxes from the State as people have been hoarding up for months from out of state suppliers to beat the taxes, etc....just more good news to go with our weather and bikinis.

I mentioned this before and was told that CA has inspection points for agricultural reasons. So apparently people there allow the government to search their vehicles already. This will turn lots of ordinary citizens into felons.

That being so , then it won't be long before the California government insists on a border fence around the state so ammo can't be smuggled in .

    Wow ! just WOW !!

Kalifornia just made a boom black market.
Someone will figure out how to do it.
